Once more, with feeling...

I'm a bit of a generalist with a leaning towards operations and product management. But I love to dive in and understand how an entire process works from start to finish. To illustrate, let me tell you about my last position:

I was initially brought to a boutique licensing agency to identify a replacement for a single software platform. To do that effectively, I needed to understand how the entire team interacted with the existing tools. I sat with each team, observed their workflows, listened to their pain points, and asked questions throughout the process. It quickly became clear that the issue extended beyond one platform; we needed a complete overhaul of our tech stack. I translated the gathered requirements into user stories, defined the roadmap, and identified a solution with a $300K in annual savings. As the project progressed, I managed feedback loops, documented processes, watched for scope creep, and more.

However, the most important lesson I took from this experience was that the most effective solutions come from aligning stakeholders, developers, and customers, fitting their insights together like pieces of a puzzle. That’s how I see myself: I facilitate collaboration, helping teams come together to build the big picture.
